A Trip To Amazonia - The Mega Indoor Playground

[Media Invite]

How time flies! In another 2 more weeks, it is March school holiday! One of the headaches of working parents is how to keep the children occupied during school holidays, besides going for short oversea trips. Here's a place you could consider bringing them to unleash their endless energy - Amazonia, Singapore's first fully themed mega-size indoor playground at Great World City.

When I first visited Amazonia, I was awed by its sheer size of 10,000 sqft, its highest indoor 4-wave slides (8m) and an adventure climbing maze of 6-storey high.

The 2 big kids here slid down the wave-slides millions of times and I was tempted to do so too! The 6-storey high adventure climbing maze was an interesting place for them to play hide and seek!

Besides the mega slide and the tall climbing maze, Amazonia also has Glow-in-the-Dark Mini Golf and Spaceball Shootout, 4D Party Rooms, Toddlers Play Area and Outdoor Carnival. We didn't have the luxury of time to explore them because the boys were so engaged in playing in the maze and sliding down the slide. They were not allowed to play at the Toddlers Play Area because it is meant for the toddlers. Older children are not allowed there in order to let the toddlers play safely.

One of the greatest joy for parents who have older kids is, perhaps, to be able to chill-out in the Bistro Cafe beside the Mega Slide. I must say that the position of the Bistro Cafe is strategic. Parents might get to sit down and chill-out over a cup of tea and a piece of cake while the older children have fun in the playground. In some sense, the parents could still be near to assist the children should they need help. And if the children are hungry, food is just so near.

Amazonia provides birthday party packages, if you are considering a birthday party at an indoor playground, do check it out here. And if you are keen to visit it regularly, signing up as a member will be a lot more worth it, along with the many perks that come with it. Do check out the membership fees here. Last but not least, remember to bring your socks (both children and adults)! And be there early to play, to beat the crowd and have more time enjoying the facilities. Have fun!
