The Genting Dream Cruises

[Media Invite]

For over 20 years, Genting Hong Kong (GHK) has changed the face of travel in Asia. Starting from Star Cruises, to the recently acquired world’s most luxury cruise line – Crystal Cruises. Now, GHK is beginning an exciting new chapter with the proud launch of Dream Cruises (DC), Asian’s first-ever luxury cruise line.

For now, DC has only 2 homeports – Hong Kong and Guangzhou. However, I had the privilege to board the DC when it was docked in Singapore recently and here are some highlights:

Dining
DC has over 35 restaurants and bars on board. You can imagine you could literally try every one of them over your 3 meals (or 4) yet not able to try out all. Yea, it is like visiting a different country for every meal of the day yet without the need to travel far to experience the best Asian and International flavours.

Live Shows
DC has a list of very impressive live production shows and enrichment events including the first-ever ‘China’s Got Talent – The Dream Experience’. We had a taste of some live productions performed in the luxurious 999-seat Zodiac Theatre and were absolutely stunned!

Submersibles
Wow! You could even explore the ocean depths with the 2 state-of-the-art luxury submersibles on board. The vehicle will go deep under the ocean where you could explore spectacular sights and counter a dazzling array of fish and sea creatures. How cool is that!

Spacious Staterooms
Did you know that over 70% of DC’s staterooms feature private balconies? You can spend countless moments enchanted by the deep blue sea and waking up to incredible views of the horizon.

What’s more, the bathrooms are huge with marble finishes and Etro and Salvatore Ferragamo bath amenities. It’s just so pampering.

There are also more than 100 connecting staterooms to provide for extended families!

Family Fun
Endless fun awaits with the Waterslides Park, ropes course, rock climbing, etc. There is no way the kiddos are going to be bored!

Crystal Life
Ladies (and men too)! When you need extra pampering, come relax and rejuvenate in the Asian reflexology spa at sea, over 20 private rooms for Western spa and massage or simply working out in the fitness centre to counterbalance your onboard indulgences.

Dream Boutiques
Splurge on yourself and others with over 1,100 sqm of duty-free shopping featuring leading international luxury brands such as Burberry, BVLGARI, Carter, Omega, Salvatore Ferragamo, etc.
