Staycation at Compass Height

We had been contemplating to move to Compass Height (hostel) because it is a stone throw away from the father's workplace.  But the distance to AJ's school kills.  That had stopped us, at least me.

Nonetheless, in November last year, we were given a chance to stay there for a week.  I couldn't ask for more for a free staycation to try this place out.

I have to admit that the view facing the Straits of Johor from the balcony is welcoming.  It is more pleasing if the apartment is of higher floor as ours was 5th.  But the constant streams of fresh air coming in from the jungle out there was certainly refreshing for city dwellers like us.

It is a 3 + study unit (about 1,300 sqft), a size too big for just the 3 of us.  Every apartment unit in Compass Height is of move-in condition, we only need to bring along our luggages.

Every bedroom has the same design - 2 single beds, 2 study desks & a wardrobe. 

Over the week-long stay, I experience the quietness, peace & space around the compound.

A library that I can stay for hours!

I like this place if not for the distance we have to travel to get to the city central or to AJ's school.  Will we eventually move to this place?  Well, we'll see.
